Gardeners' World Live: Show Gardens and Sustainability

Show gardens can give many of new and established gardeners ideas to take home with them but in the last few years we have seen a clash between those seeking to create sustainable gardens that go after the show has finished and those gardens that are aspirational, an idea or ethos, a concept.

You can complete series of photos on our Facebook Page with all the names of the designers and the awards they won. Now, sit back and look at the gardens from this year's show and decide whether you want the aspiration or the sustainable in the garden. You can see Andrew's views on this at the end of the blog post.

This is the last film from this year's show, the gardens at the show always challenge gardeners and designers here take more of a risk than at other shows. We applaud this and those that embrace planting that brings in pollinators and move away from the concept of the room.
