Farewell to Hopwood

Back in September 2016 we arrived at our new gardens working with a team of students and staff. A year on and it is time for those students take control of their project. We have helped them set up partnerships with groups, individuals and organisations, and it's important that they have ownership of any work going forward, and that means the promotion and publicity around it. Andrew will continue to work on the course at the college, though he has gone part-time due to ill health, but now it should be about the students, the partners and organisations they are working with. In other words, it is time for the students to grow their own identity. Hopwood Hall was always going to be a bigger project than Pig Row, and it would be easy for our blog to be eaten up by the wonderful garden and the wonderful work the students are doing. We still plan to post about the highlights of this project but this is largely a farewell to Hopwood Hall on this blog. We will pop in from time to time but now it is all about the students, and that means their voice and not our's. You can find back posts here. However, do not fret or cry, you can follow how this project unfolds on the student's Facebook Page and on their twitter account.
